I am delighted to announce that the 18th Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation (CAST) will be held in Hong Kong from 25th to 28th August 2023.
CAST is a biannual transplant congress of Asian Society of Transplantation, aiming to provide transplant clinician a broad program, covering a diverse range of topics, from cutting edge science to ethical issues in transplant. Issues related to challenges in developing transplant program and promoting organ donation in Asia will also be a highlight of this meeting.
The COVID-19 pandemic has redefined landscape and lifestyle to a new norm. Despite the difficulties impacted on all of us by the ongoing pandemic, we have decided to proceed with physical meeting, which we believe will be the first face-to-face regional transplant meeting after the COVID pandemic. This congress will offer you excellent opportunity for networking, renewing old ties and making new friends, after a long period of social distancing and isolation. We are expecting to welcome over 800-1000 experts in the transplantation field from Asia-pacific region.
